About Mount Nebo Miami Memorial Gardens
Mount Nebo is situated on thirty acres of land just a few miles away from Miami International Airport. We are proud to serve the Jewish community of South Florida by providing compassionate care and a welcoming final resting place for those preparing for what comes next. Our beautiful memorial garden feels more like a park than a cemetery, and features a mix of oaks, mahoganys, black olive trees, and palms. In keeping with Jewish tradition, there are no flowers planted in our garden. Stones are available at the cemetery office if you would like to leave them on a grave.
We follow all rules and regulations for cemeteries set by the state of Florida, as well as Jewish burial practices.
Our History
Mount Nebo Miami Memorial Gardens was established in the 1950’s, and is the oldest Jewish cemetery in South Florida. Many prominent members of the Miami Beach Jewish community are buried within our gardens.
